The Womens' Fellowship
HISTORY
Womens' Fellowship
The Methodist Women’s Fellowship was started by Lady Frances Green, a Missionary, at Cape Coast in the Central Region. At Resurrection Society, the Women’s Fellowship was started by twelve (12) sisters in 1993. It was the first organization to be inaugurated in the Society on 11th May 1997 with 35 members.
The Fellowship, since its inauguration, has contributed in various ways towards the growth of the church and helped in the formation of the Singing Band, SUWMA and the Girls Fellowship.
The Methodist Girls’ Fellowship, under the supervision of the Women’s Fellowship, was formed to train the young girls in the church.
